For my project, I will share a normal day of my job as a hospital Pharmacy Technician at Mountain Lakes Medical Center. I will show the steps and precautions I have to take in preparing IV's and packaging oral medications into unit dose packages. These IV's and other medications are being given to patients in the hospital, so we have to be careful in how we prepare them so that they are not contaminated. My microbiology class helps me understand how important it is to sterilize and use the correct tools and machines to do my job properly.
