Abstract
Air pollution, in its many forms, is an ongoing issue that yields numerous consequences with severe implications. In an attempt to address the impact, research was conducted to uncover the relationships between air pollution, geographic location, culture, and society. Prior studies show that air pollution has an array of quantifiable negative effects; however, previous research examining the correlation of these effects with the aforementioned elements is limited. This study of A Global Perspective of Air Pollution aims to establish the necessity for various cultures to understand the links between location and societal views of the perceived significance of air pollution. Secondary research was conducted to integrate data, and the findings of this study verify the relationship between air pollution, geographic location, culture, and society. Synthesizing these factors indicates a vast array of repercussions associated with air pollution, supporting the claim that global action must be taken to combat the problem.
