Abstract
With this paper, we hope to establish characteristics that are common among prisoners. Our hypothesis is that we as a country can be more proactive in recognizing when someone might show signs on criminality. Being proactive will help in the long run, as we will be able to better treat these people and prevent future problems for them and society as whole. While I hope to find a set of common characteristics among prisoners, I hope that those findings are not broad characteristics, such as race, but rather more specific characteristics that would be more valuable when we look at a person. I believe that I will find distinguishable traits among male and female prisoners that are easily recognizable to society.
