I am tenured professor of computer science at the University of North Georgia. I have been proudly serving UNG students for the last twenty-one years. I teach computer science and cybersecurity courses both online and face-to-face. Education wise, I have a B.S. in mathematics and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in computer science. I also have a Graduate Security Certificate from CERIAS at Purdue University in Indiana, a Firewall Security Certificate from CISCO, and a Postdoctoral fellowship in Information Security from University of Maryland University College (UMUC.) I have been teaching computer science courses for the last 28 years and cybersecurity and computer forensics courses for the last 12 years. I have been involved in teaching, curriculum development and research in the area of cybersecurity and computer forensics. I believe scholarship is an integral part of a faculty member’s responsibility, especially in the fast growing discipline of computer science and cybersecurity. I have been active in performing research and sharing my work with others by publishing my research results in International academic Journals and peer reviewed conference proceedings. My primary research interests include Security of VoIP, RAM Forensics, Network Forensics Analysis, Forensics Tools, and Cloud Forensics. I have about 40 academic journal and peer-reviewed conference proceedings publications to my credit. I am an advocate of undergraduate research and in most of my research projects; my students have been involved and cooperated with me in my research.
