Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe

Abstract

My painting is of the Virgin Mary, she is surrounded in three different rose colors. The rows are (from left to right) green, white, and red. They are separated in columns to represent the colors of the Mexican flag. It was done with these colors because in the majority Mexicans are Catholic, the religion has a feast day for her that at the church a picture piece where she is surrounded by many flowers but especially roses. I spent about 6 hrs on this project.
