Abstract

General Livsey is a reitred Army four star general who graduated from North Georgia College in 1952. After graduation he served asan infantry platoon leader in both the Korean and Viet Nam wars. General Livsey served as Commander in Chief, United Nations Command/Commander in Chief, ROK/U.S. Combined Forces Command/Commander, United States Forces Command/Commanding General, Eighth United States Army (CINCUNC/CINCCFC/COMUSFK/CGEUSA) from 1984 through 1987.
