Abstract
With the iconic Hilton Hawaiian Village Rainbow Tower in the background, this majestic Humpback Whale (kohola) was teaching its calf to breach for the first time. As I was trained on photographing the calf, Mom popped out for the real show. This image is one of 15 that were captured, from the point where the whale broke the surface to the final splash! A truly magical moment!
