UNG Annual Research Conference 2022
The University of North Georgia's 27th Annual Research Conference will be held on the Gainesville campus in the Martha T. Nesbitt building and will occur on Friday, March 25, 2022 between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We welcome all faculty, staff, and the general public to make time to join us and engage with our student presenters as they demonstrate their research that they’ve participated in over the past year.
We will hold a poster session from 12 pm – 1 pm and several concurrent panels beginning from around 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in various rooms in Nesbitt, Gainesville campus.
Oral panel presentations are concurrent and set up by discipline and subject. Panel presentations are scheduled by room and will occur between 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The panels can be found alphabetically and by room location. Please see master schedule to view the panel times and subjects below.
- Oral presenters: aim to arrive 30 minutes early to check in, but we encourage everyone to come early to check out the panels and poster session. Please remember to send us your PowerPoint presentation by March 23 at noon so we can get the presentation queued up before your panel begins. Email this file to curca@ung.edu.
Poster Session will take place in Nesbitt 3110 AB on the Gainesville campus from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Please see the master schedule to view the titles and abstracts of the posters being presented.
- Poster presenters: aim to arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in and set up the poster, but we encourage everyone to come in early to experience the panels of your fellow peers. Please contact your department for help printing out your poster and the final size should be 3’ x 4’ (36” x 48”).

This 10 minute video briefly touches on the origins of the conference before consolidation at North Georgia College & State University and Gainesville State College as well as how the conference evolved after consolidation at University of North Georgia. We want to thank Dr. Jennifer Mook who devoted time to research, compile, and interview faculty and staff to preserve the history of ARC.
